Good for running

I got the OpenRun headphones after my old earbuds kept falling out on runs. Ordering was simple enough, just went through their site. It shipped pretty fast, took about 4 days to get to my place in Ohio. The sound quality is clear for podcasts and music, and I can still hear cars coming which is a huge plus. They're super light and comfy, I barely notice them. Battery life is also decent, usually lasts through my long runs without an issue. I even had a question about charging, and their support team responded to my email within a day. Overall, a solid product for active use.

Easy to wear

I grabbed the OpenMove headphones for walking the dog. They arrived quickly, like 3 days. Super easy to set up with my phone, no fuss. They stay on my head and don't bother my ears. Pretty happy with them.

Decent value on OpenFit

I snagged the OpenFit earbuds when they had a bit of a sale going on. I always look for a good deal, and the price point felt right for what I was getting. Shipping was free, which helped the overall cost. They're pretty comfortable, and I like that I can still hear what's happening around me. For the money I spent, I think it was a good buy. I've seen other similar open-ear types that cost a lot more, so these were a practical choice for me.

Are Shokz headphones actually good for swimming or is it just marketing hype? Thinking about the OpenSwim Pro.

M Marcus S. 1 month ago

Dude, the OpenSwim are legit. I use them all the time in the pool. No issues whatsoever.

M Mia Torres 1 month ago

I got the OpenSwim, not the Pros, and they're solid. Just make sure you follow the instructions for getting sound underwater. It's a bit different.

Does anyone know if Shokz does a discount for healthcare workers? Saw something about it but wasn't sure.

T Troy 2 months ago

Yeah, they totally do. You just gotta verify through ID.me at checkout. It's usually like 10-15% off.

I Ivy 2 months ago

They do! I used my nurse discount for my OpenSwim Pros. It was pretty easy to set up.

What's the deal with returns? If they don't fit right, is it a hassle?

E Elena 2 months ago

Returns were super easy for me. Printed a label, sent 'em back, got my refund. No drama.

I returned an OpenMove once because it felt a bit too big for my head. It was pretty straightforward, just follow their online instructions.

Is Shokz still the same company as AfterShokz? Heard they rebranded or something.

W Wendy 2 months ago

Yep, same company, just a name change. They used to be AfterShokz.

S Steve Patel 2 months ago

Yeah, they changed it a while back. Still the same tech and quality though.

Can you combine promo codes on their site? Like if I have a newsletter sign-up one and then a sale code?

A Anna Silva 2 months ago

Nah, usually you can't stack them. It's one code per order in my experience.

T Troy 1 month ago

I tried that during Black Friday. It only let me use one. Pick the better deal!

Thinking about the OpenFit earbuds, but also looking at something from Bose. How do these compare, especially for running?

L Laura 1 month ago

OpenFit are awesome for running 'cause you can still hear traffic and stuff. Bose are great for sound but block out way more. Depends what you prioritize.

Hey, thinking about grabbing some OpenRun Pros. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Seattle?

A Andre 1 month ago

Mine took like 5 days to get to Portland last month. Pretty standard.

E Emma 1 month ago

I got my OpenFit Airs in about a week to Olympia. I think they ship from California or something like that.
